I was playing chess since my childhood just for fun. I was playing it just for fun. I was first invited to play a chess tournament by my school friend in class VII. The first tournament, which I played was held in DDPS (Dehradun Public School) that event comprised of 2 days.

As you can see I was very much excited for the first day tournament. I was under great pressure for performance. I was very much scared during the OPENING CEREMONY.
After the ceremony, I played my first match seriously only for first 5 minutes as after that I took the queen of the opponent. After that I had taken all the pieces of the opponent in the next 5 minutes. After that I finally check mated him. My second second match was with another boy who also had won 1 match like me and we both had one-one point so both of we were under great stress. But my excitement from the first match made me feel confident and I was playing that match like a chess master and slowly slowly improved my position in that game. I took control over the center square as well as my pieces were just in the position to attack the King. And I attacked and won that match. In the round 3, my match was with a DDPS (the host school) pupil. I carefully noticed that my left and right benches were also occupied with the DDPS students, and moreover their opponents were also from DDPS but they were all helping my opponent. But somehow, I managed to win the match. After my win, all the DDPS students started scolding my opponent for his lost match by a I have seen the result and my rank was in top 20. I was the only one from my school, who won 3/3 matches. In the bus all the students of my school were claiming DDPS students as cheaters. But I didn't utter a word to support them though I knew that they were right.
But after a great performance during the day 1, my match was fixed with the number another 3 pointer (3/3 matches winner). We were sitting on the TABLE NO 1. Near that table a man whom I didn't know. But throughout the match he was helping my oppenent. Both of them were using gestures of eyes to decide which piece to move and which piece not to move. But whenever I tried to catch them red handed somehow they managed to pretend each other as strangers. Half an hour later, I knew that I gonna lose this match and I cant do anything to catch them red handed as both of them seems to be experts in cheating. Moreover the man was some repudiated person of that School. Therefore even of my defeat in that match I couldn't raise my voice against him. Now I was 3/4 pointer and my 5th match was with the boy whom I defeated in the first match one day before. But this time I had lost all my faith and confidence in myself. I had lost that match too.
The overall result was I won 3/5 matches in my first chess tournament.
